Hey, thanks for stopping by! I’m Shelley Crawford, your personal Landscape Artist, Designer and Master Gardener. Since 1995, I have been designing custom landscapes in Palm Beach County, Florida. I’ve loved playing in the dirt since I was a kid, and now I get to do it for a living! The love of plants and nature have always been an integral part of my life, so it was only natural that my very first job would be at garden center, then later at a whole nursery. As I grew up in the industry, I began to notice that most landscape designers seemed to offer the same “cookie-cutter” landscapes – there was nothing creative or unique going on.  I thought I could offer more, so I set out to change up the game and offer my clients unique, different and more botanical plant species. There are some really cool plants out there – you just have to know where to look! And that’s where I come in. In 1995, Butterflies Are Free Landscaping and Design was born!
